Payment Options

The Southern Nevada Community Health Center accepts a variety of payment options including but not limited to private insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, and self-payment on a sliding fee scale. No patient will be denied services due to an inability to pay. Please ask to speak to a Billing Specialist about your payment options or to confirm the Southern Nevada Community Health Center is an eligible provider in your individual health plan.

We are pleased to present the 2016 Southern Nevada Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP). This CHIP is the result of a community-wide strategic planning effort aimed at coordinating efforts to make the biggest impact on the health of our community. The CHIP lays the foundation for addressing some of the most challenging public health issues facing Southern Nevada. Solving complex societal and health problems is demanding and requires strategic planning and the broad will of the community to make progress.

Southern Nevada Health District Public Health Advisory Board

On July 23, 2015, Nevada Revised Statutes were amended to create a Health District Public Health Advisory Board. The Advisory Board consists of one resident of each city in the county selected by the governing board of each city, a physician licensed to practice medicine in this State, selected on the basis of education, training, experience, or demonstrated abilities in the provision of health care services to minority groups and other medically underserved populations, a nurse licensed to practice nursing in this State, and a representative who has a background or expertise in environmental health or environmental health services.

Valid Identification Policy

All Food Handler Safety Training Card applicants must furnish valid identification. All identification documents must be originals, not photocopies or scans. Documents should be legible and not be torn or taped together. Expired documents are not considered valid and are not accepted.
