Children's Services - Updated 12/11/12
The Childhood Blood Lead Screening Clinic is open Wednesday from 1:30 p.m. - 4 p.m. at the main facility at Valley View Blvd. The fee is $20 and results only take a few minutes. Payment by Medicaid, Nevada Check-up, Visa, Master Card and cash is accepted.
Health Kids Exams are available at the Southern Nevada Health District Main Facility and the East Las Vegas public health center. Exams are offered to children getting immunizations who have Medicaid or Nevada CheckUp. No appointments are necessary and exams are pending nurse availability.
The Kids Clinic is open by appointment only at Southern Nevada Health District Main Facility, and the East Las Vegas and Henderson public health centers. A fee of $25 will be charged per child. To schedule an appointment, call

The Maternal Child Health Program is available and provides health counseling, referrals and assessments to pregnant women, mothers, infants and children living in Clark County.
Emergency Medical Services & Trauma System - Updated 3/14/13
The Emergency Medical Services & Trauma System program is located in at the main facility at 330 S. Valley View. Hours of operations are Monday - Thursday, 7 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

To report mosquitoes in a public place, such as drainage washes, channels and parks, call the Vector Control hotline at (702) 759-1633.
If you are having sanitation, sewage, mold, heating, air conditioning or bug issues at a home you rent, call the Landlord/Tenant Complaints hotline at (702) 759-0697.
To report a sanitation and safety issue at a motel or hotel, mobile home park, RV park, used mattress company or camp, call (702) 759-1633.
To report an issue at a public swimming pool, such as water quality, number of lifeguards, availability of safety equipment and general sanitation and safety, call (702) 759-0611.
To report a sanitation and safety issue at a commercial food establishment, complete the online Food Establishment Complaint Form.

Individual Sewage/Septic Disposal Systems Operations and Plan Review
The ISDS program has relocated to the Shadow Professional Center at 400 Shadow Lane, Suite 104, Las Vegas, NV 89106. Hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., Closed noon - 1 p.m.
Due to the Ravenholt main facility closure, appointments are now required for all submissions. Call (702) 759-0660 to schedule an appointment.
The ISDS program processes the following:
- Tenant improvements
- Certification of septic & wells
- Pool review of properties on septic
- New septic permits for residential and commercial properties
- Liquid waste hauler permits – new companies and existing that have a new truck to add
- Annual inspection of nitrogen removal septic systems
- Parcel map review (does not include subdivision maps)
- Requests for existing septic permit information

Food Handler SafetyTraining Cards - Updated 4/30/13
Effective January 2, 2013 the Health Card program has been replaced with the new Body Art Card and Food Handler Safety Training and Certification Program.
All food handlers are now required to get a Food Handler Safety Training Card instead of a Health Card. All tattoo, body piercing and permanent makeup artists are now required to get a Body Art Card.
Effective Monday, May 13, Food Handler Safety Training Cards will no longer be processed at the Cambridge Community Outreach Center.
Food Safety Training
Online food safety training is now available to all new and renewal food handler and child care category health card applicants. The food safety movie previously shown at the health district is no longer available. Visit the Food Safety Training webpage for details.
HIV/AIDS Prevention & Clinic - Updated 4/2/13
The HIV Clinic is now housed in the new Sexual Health Clinic:

The Adult Immunization Program is available by phone at (702) 759-0878. Clients who need vaccines can go to the East Las Vegas or Henderson public health centers. Clients must bring a letter from their employer that is valid within 30 days. TB skin testing for clients is currently unavailable. Information will be available here when the testing is available.
