Hispanic Heritage Month: Celebrating health, culture and community in Southern Nevada
Fall Issue

Hispanic Heritage Month, observed each year from September 15 through October 15, celebrates the history, culture and contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities. It’s also an opportunity to connect Clark County residents with free health resources, education and community events.
Health data show why these resources matter. In 2023, 15.3% of Hispanic adults in Clark County reported having diabetes, while 38.3% reported having been diagnosed with high blood pressure, according to the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System.
