Effective January 2, 2013 the Health Card program has been replaced with the new Body Art Card and Food Handler Safety Training and Certification Program.
All food handlers are now required to get a Food Handler Safety Training Card instead of a Health Card.
No other occupations require a Health Card, though some may still have mandated training or screening for certification. (See table below.)

†Employees who work in a child care center kitchen as a food handler, must get a food handler safety training card. Employees who dispense food prepared in the kitchen or other packaged drinks or food are not required to have a food handler safety training card.
