The Vegas PBS online food safety training is $20 and payable to Southern Nevada Public Television/Vegas PBS at the time of registration; the balance of fees is paid at the health district during the application process.
Visa and MasterCard credit, debit and prepaid cards are acceptable forms of payment in the training portal.
Cash payments are accepted Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., at Vegas PBS, 3050 E. Flamingo Road, Las Vegas, 89121.
The name on your certificate of completion must match the name on your valid identification (no nicknames).
Completing the training does not renew your card. An additional $15 late fee will be applied to card renewals that have expired. There is no grace period.
Complete the food safety training before applying for a Food Handler Safety Training card.
Print the certificate of completion and bring it with you to get your Food Handler Safety Training card. Only original, unexpired certificates will be accepted.

Limited computer help is provided. If you do not know how to use a computer you can bring a friend to help you.

Appointments are not available. Computers are available on a first-come, first served basis.
o Headphones are available, or bring your own. Individual headphones may be purchased at Vegas PBS for $1.
If training is not completed by 5 p.m. you will be asked to come back during normal operating hours.

Monday - Thursday, 8 a.m. - noon, No applications will be accepted after 11:30 to allow time for processing.
Appointments are recommended. Call (702) 759-1643 to schedule an appointment. Walk-ins will be accepted if space is available.
Space is limited.
Clients who do not complete the training by 11:45 a.m. will be asked to come back during normal operating hours.
