What is SPORT?

The Southern Nevada Health District Post Overdose Response Team (SPORT) is a developed program funded through the Bureau of Justice Assistance’s (BJA) Comprehensive Opioid, Stimulant and Substance Use Site-based Program (COSSUP) grant.

SPORT is made up of dedicated staff available to respond 24/7. The team provides assessments for individuals at risk and supports overdose survivors in Clark County by connecting them with the resources they need. Services may include referrals to medication-assisted treatment, mental health support, harm reduction education and access to supplies.
