Join the SPARK Youth Advisory Council
Are you a Clark County teen (ages 14–17) interested in making a difference in your community? The SPARK (Students Promoting Awareness Responsibility & Knowledge) Youth Advisory Council brings together individuals from diverse backgrounds to amplify youth voices on public health issues while building leadership and advocacy skills.
Why Join SPARK?
What YOU do as a SPARK member:
- Collaborate and learn directly from Southern Nevada Health District staff
- Serve as youth ambassadors for public health and gain valuable hands-on experience.
- Strengthen your leadership, communication, advocacy, and project coordination skills.
- Help drive real, positive health outcomes in your community.
- Connect with peers and professionals, building valuable networks for your future.

Time Commitment
SPARK runs during the school year:
- Fall: Eight meetings
- Spring: Five meetings
- 15 meetings during the fall and spring semester.
