Tentative Maps
Review Process
- Submit tentative map to subdivision review via the Subdivion File Manager
- A comment letter will be sent approximately 15 days after submittal either approving the map or requesting additional information.
- Final approval of the map occurs when the following conditions have been met:
- All issues addressed, if any, per the tentative map comment letter.
- Health district approval of the final map and improvement plans
- Written approval from the sewer utility (will serve letter)
- Written approval from the water utility (will serve letter)
- Written approval from the Division of Environmental Protection for both the tentative map and the final Map
- Fees are paid
Required on Tentative Maps
Tentative maps are reviewed to verify the following is displayed:
- Name of subdivision
- Topographic features including contours and elevations
- Lot arrangement, street alignments, and easement design
- Soils report, high water table, and the rate or percolation (NAC 444.796, Southern Nevada Health District ISDS Regulations) if there is a subsoil disposal of sewage
- Water agency (well or name of public utility)
- Water analysis to meet standards if not using an existing public water system
- Map or statement regarding the 100 year flood plain
- Vicinity map
- Graphic scale
- Engineer name and address
- Owner/developer name and address
- Master plan displayed or statement, if any
- Location description such as 40-acre part of a section, township, range or APN
- Lot count
- Engineer stamp and signature
- Sewer agency (ISDS or name of public utility)
- Provide the seasonal high ground water depth below grade
