Subdivision Plan Review

EFFECTIVE WEDNESDAY, MARCH 18:
The Southern Nevada Health District Subdivision Program will not be accepting customers inside the building until further notice. However, we will still be processing maps, plans, payments, etc.

  1. Continue to submit digitally to the portal including Tentative  Maps, Final Maps, and Improvement Plans. These will still be processed, reviewed, and comments communicated. If access to the portal is needed call (702) 759-0661.
  2. Agency letter submittals will continue to be processed (including will serves, NDEP, Letter in Lieu Of, etc.).
  3. If a payment can be done by a credit card email cottam@snhd.org to request an invoice for online payment.
  4. Final Map mylar signatures will continue. Call (702) 759-0661 for status and direction.

EFFECTIVE MONDAY, APRIL 6:
Mylar signing will only be on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

The Southern Nevada Health District reviews, approves and regulates certain environmental and health aspects of commercial and residential subdivision developments in Clark County. The provisions are detailed in the Nevada Revised Statues (NRS) Chapter 278  and Nevada Administrative Code (NAC) Chapter 278.

The subdivision review and approval process includes a review of tentative maps, final maps, and improvement plans.

Following certification for sewage disposal available capacity and water pollution control permitting by the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection, final maps are approved by the Health District for sewage disposal, water quality, and any water supply facilities predicated upon a public or private water supply and any community or individual system for disposal of sewage.
