Health District offering COVID-19 vaccines for all eligible individuals,
including through VFC and 317 programs

LAS VEGAS — The Southern Nevada Health District has received Vaccines for Children (VFC) and Section 317 COVID-19 vaccine allocations. Updated COVID-19 vaccines are available at all Health District Immunization Clinics for everyone 6 months and older, including people with private insurance, Medicaid, and uninsured and underinsured children and adults who qualify for vaccines through the VFC or 317 programs.
Seasonal flu and RSV vaccines are also available for all recommended age and risk groups.
COVID-19 vaccine information
- Recommended for everyone 6 months and older.
- People recently infected with COVID-19 should wait 4–6 months before vaccination.
- Those who previously received a COVID-19 vaccine should wait at least 2 months before the updated dose.
Flu and RSV vaccines
- Flu vaccines are recommended for everyone 6 months and older.
- RSV vaccine is recommended for adults 75 and older, adults 60–74 at increased risk, and pregnant people 32–36 weeks gestation (September–January).
- RSV monoclonal antibodies are recommended for all infants under 8 months and for children 8–19 months at higher risk.
Clinic information
Vaccines are available by appointment at Health District Immunization Clinics. Most health plans, including Medicare and Medicaid, cover recommended vaccines. Uninsured children and adults may qualify for free vaccines through VFC or 317. Vaccine supply for the VFC and 317 programs may be limited and is subject to availability.
