2026 State of Public Health
The Southern Nevada Health District shared updates on public health services, recent accomplishments, and key health issues affecting our community, along with the collaborative efforts underway to improve health outcomes in Clark County. This year’s program highlights local efforts to address the overdose epidemic and expand access to care through the Health District’s Street Medicine program. Opening remarks were provided by Dr. Cassius Lockett, District Health Officer, and Scott Black, North Las Vegas Mayor Pro Tem and Chair of the Southern Nevada District Board of Health.
