Home/My business generates waste tires. Do I have to contract a waste tire hauler to properly dispose of my waste tires?

There are two answers to this question.

  • If you transport your own waste tires to a permitted waste tire management facility, then you do not need to contract a permitted waste tire hauler.
  • If you do not transport your own waste tires to a permitted waste tire management facility, you do need to contact a permitted waste tire hauler to properly remove and transport your waste tires to a permitted waste tire management facility.

NOTE: If you generate waste tires in Clark County and you maintain a permit as a Restricted Waste Generator then you will need proof of proper disposal for all waste tires as they are considered a restricted waste. (SWMAR 4-3.02 (A))
