Home/Do I need to have a health district issued Food Handler Safety Training card if I have a Certified Food Safety Manager card?

No. The Certified Food Safety Manager card meets the “Health Card” requirement for a food handler in Clark County.

The card also signifies that the holder meets the 2010 Regulations Governing the Sanitation of Food Establishments requirement for food protection manager certification (2-103.11), which is one of three options for the knowledge requirement for a person in charge of a food establishment (2-201.11B).

You are not required to complete the online food safety training that is required for the Food Handler Safety Training card.
