Safe Sleep Community Toolkit
Understanding the risk of Sudden Unexpected Infant Death (SUID) and the many ways to help prevent it can make it easier to practice safe sleep.
This toolkit is intended to help build awareness, empowerment and increase trust in our community about safe sleep. The information in the kit is based on credible, culturally responsive recommendations that can help parents and caregivers make decisions about safe sleep for their infants.
Tips for using the toolkit:
When using the materials for social media, it is highly encouraged to always add the link to the Southern Nevada Health District’s safe sleep webpage (see below) and consider using the suggested captions and hashtags. It is also encouraged to tag the Health District’s social accounts to the posts:
