Mobile Vendor Application Process

Initiate the application process

The mobile vendor application process can be started using this link. Please read and complete the entire application to avoid delays in the permitting process. If there are questions about the application process, please call (702)759-1127 or email specializedfood@snhd.org. Administrative staff will respond within three business days.

Plan Review

The application must be completed, and all required documents must be uploaded to the Accela Citizens Access (ACA) website, listed above. Once the application and required documents have been received, they will be reviewed.

After all documents have been reviewed, an invoice will be generated. For more information about invoices, see the Fees section below. Once the invoice has been paid, an appointment will be scheduled for the plan review inspection. For more details, see the Appointments section below.

Fees

  1. An invoice designating permit fees and plan review fees for each permit being applied for will be generated as specified in the Environmental Health (EH) Fee Schedule. The invoice can be found by logging into the customer’s account on the ACA website. It will appear on the account home page.
  2. The fees must be paid using the ACA website. Payment is due upon receipt and may be made online using the customer’s account.
  3. Fees are non-refundable; therefore, it is highly recommended that you review all applicable jurisdictional requirements prior to applying for a health permit.

Appointment

All fees must be paid prior to inspection. Mobile Vendor units will be inspected at the Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) office located at 280 S. Decatur Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89107.

All permits will be notified of location, date and time of their inspection when their appointment is scheduled.

Rescheduling / Cancellations

Failure to notify SNHD staff of a cancellation at least 24 hours prior to your appointment will result in a missed appointment fee as specified in the EH Fee Schedule.

Failure to arrive on time may result in cancellation of your appointment and a missed appointment fee as specified in the EH Fee Schedule.

Permit

Your permit will be issued upon passing your plan review inspection. If you do not pass your initial inspection, a final inspection will be scheduled with your assigned inspector.

Failure of a final inspection will result in a fee, as specified in the EH Fee Schedule, for any subsequent inspections required for final approval of the permit.
