LAS VEGAS – Today, as the Southern Nevada Health District is reporting more than 1006 people in our community have lost their lives due to COVID-19, we want to express our deepest sympathies to their families and friends.

We would also like to express our gratitude to the health care workers, first responders, and everyone who is working during this time to serve the public in a safe and healthy manner. We appreciate your efforts, your support, and what you do to keep our residents and visitors safe.

The Southern Nevada Health District serves as the local public health authority for Clark County, Boulder City, Henderson, Las Vegas, Mesquite and North Las Vegas.
