September 8, 2020

The Southern Nevada Health District will begin to offer flu vaccine at its public health centers on Monday, September 14. All immunizations are available by appointment only as we continue to practice social distancing, and everyone must wear a mask when accessing services. Appointments can be made by calling the Immunization Clinic, (702) 759-0850For more information, visit the Health District’s website: www.snhd.info/flu.

In addition to the flu shot that contains four influenza strains, the Health District is offering the high dose flu vaccine for people over the age of 65. The Southern Health District reminds everyone about the importance of flu vaccine, especially this year with the negative impact of COVID19, and the risk of both viruses placing a tremendous burden on our local health care system and resources.
