LAS VEGAS – The Southern Nevada Health District is reporting 609 new cases of COVID-19 today, bringing the total of cases in Clark County to 77,426. The Health District is also reporting six new COVID-19 deaths; however, the total number of deaths reported today remains at 1,488. Based on the new COVID-19 surveillance death definition finalized by the Nevada Department of Health and Human Services and current as of October 19, 2020, the Health District reviewed its previously reported data and the total number of deaths reported in Clark County was decreased by six.

COVID-19 data published by the Health District is preliminary and subject to change.
