Southern Nevada Health District hosts Nevada County Health Rankings briefing

WHAT: A briefing of the 2016 Nevada County Health Rankings. The County Health Rankings are released by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) and the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute (UWPHI).

WHY: The County Health Rankings measure the health of nearly all counties in the nation and rank them within states. The Rankings are compiled using county-level measures from a variety of national and state data sources and then standardized using scientifically–informed weights. The Rankings serve as a call to action by allowing communities to better understand the health issues in their communities and by mobilizing stakeholders to improve the health of their communities.
WHO: Southern Nevada Health District staff will present a summary of the 2016 Nevada County Health Rankings.
