Health District prepping for move to its new public health center

LAS VEGAS — The Southern Nevada Health District is moving from its current location at 330 S. Valley View Blvd. to its new public health center, 280 S. Decatur Blvd. at Decatur and Meadows Lane. Services will be impacted Friday, Jan. 22 and Monday, Jan. 25. All services and clinics will be available at the new location starting Tuesday, Jan. 26 at 8 a.m. Visit www.SNHD.info for updated service information and the relocation schedule. Services available at the East Las Vegas and Henderson public health centers are not impacted and will be available as scheduled.

Food Handler Safety Training Card, birth, and death certificate services will be unavailable after 3 p.m., Friday, Jan. 22 and on Monday, Jan. 25. Services resume at 8 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 26 at the new location. Birth and death certificates are available online and by mail at: www.southernnevadahealthdistrict.org/vital-records.php

Nursing and clinic services, including immunizations, the sexual health clinic, and TB clinic will be unavailable on Friday, Jan. 22 and Monday, Jan. 25. Services resume at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 26 at the new location.

Environmental Health Division services will be unavailable after 3 p.m., Friday Jan. 22 and Monday, Jan. 25. Services resume at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 26 at the new location. Environmental health services that will be available at the Decatur Blvd. public health center include: Citizen complaints, food operations, public accommodations, solid waste plan review, subdivision review, and vector control.

Emergency Medical Services and Trauma System services will be unavailable Friday, Jan. 22 and Monday, Jan. 25. Services resume at 8 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 26.
