Coleman withdraws CHO application

LAS VEGAS – The Southern Nevada Health District’s Director of Community Health, Dr. Thomas R. Coleman, has withdrawn his application for consideration for the position of the chief health officer due to personal family matters. Dr. Coleman was identified as the leading candidate during a special meeting of the Southern Nevada District Board of Health.

The board’s chief health officer succession committee is currently scheduled to meet on Thursday, Aug. 15.
