As of Friday, September 11, 2009, the Southern Nevada Health District reports the following information regarding novel H1N1 case counts in Clark County:

Clark County H1N1-related deaths to date: 11*
The health district is reporting one death for the week ending September 11. The patient was a 45-year-old woman who did not have underlying medical conditions. One patient remains hospitalized with severe illness. The Southern Nevada Health District continues to receive samples from its pediatric surveillance program.

*This number represents Clark County residents only. In early June, the health district reported the death of a hospitalized patient who was a resident of another state.
