Southern Nevada Health District to Hold Point of Distribution Exercise

What:

The Southern Nevada Health District will hold a “point of distribution” exercise to test its ability to provide immunizations to a large population during a significant event or outbreak.

The health district has partnered with Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada to provide flu shots to its clients for this exercise.  It is anticipated that the health district could immunize as many as 1,000 clients during the exercise.

   
When: 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
