New Public Information Officer

LAS VEGAS – Stephanie Bethel has been named public information officer for the Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD), it was announced today by Dr. Donald Kwalick, chief health officer.

In her new position, Bethel will be responsible for the development, management and implementation of public information activities that will cover a variety of the District’s key issues such as public health preparedness, environmental health and nursing and clinic services.

Prior to joining SNHD, she held several editorial and public relations positions in Las Vegas. Bethel earned her journalism degree from California State University, Northridge.
