Healthcare associated infections (HAI) Training Requests

In addition to providing Infection Control Assessments and Response (ICARs), the SNHD HAI team is working on developing trainings to provide to facilities upon request.

Infection Prevention and Control topics for future trainings that are currently being developed include:

• Hand hygiene
• Environmental cleaning and disinfection
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) use
• Safe injection practices
• Standard and Transmission-based Precautions (contact, enhanced barrier, droplet, airborne)
• General common Healthcare Associated Infections (HAIs) and their transmission
