Health District to close early Friday, Dec. 23

LAS VEGAS – The Southern Nevada Health District’s public health centers at 280 S. Decatur in Las Vegas, 830 Hafen Way in Mesquite, 55 Civic Way in Laughlin, and the Environmental Health Division programs at the City Las Vegas’ Development Services offices at 333 S. Rancho will close at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 23. Clients seeking clinic services at 280 S. Decatur should arrive by 2:30 p.m. to be seen that day. Clinic services at the East Las Vegas Public Health Center will close at 3:30 p.m. and clients should arrive by 3 p.m. that day to be seen. Food Handler Safety Training Card services will be available at the East Las Vegas Public Health Center until 3 p.m. Clients in Mesquite seeking Food Handler Safety Training Card services should arrive by 2:15 p.m. to be processed.

All Health District public health centers will be closed on Monday, Dec. 26 for the Christmas holiday, and services will resume at all locations at normal operating hours on Tuesday, Dec. 27. Visit the Health District’s Locations section of its website for more information.
