Enclosures and Barriers
All gates and doors leading into an aquatic venue enclosure must be self-closing and self-latching from any open position.
Aquatic venues constructed to the 2018 Aquatic Facility Regulations require enclosures with heights of not less than six feet. Additionally, barriers must be installed above a fixed, permanently installed surface.
Modifications to existing facilities requiring a barrier remodel will be required to come into compliance with these requirements.
