Pool Draining Guide
Visit the Southern Nevada Water Authority’s How to Drain a Pool or Spa webpage for information on how to drain your swimming pool into the municipal sewer line.
Note: If you get permission from a sewer agency to drain swimming pool water into a sewer manhole, the pool water must be dechlorinated (with sodium thiosulfate or similar chemical).
Contact the appropriate sewer agency for instructions on how to properly drain a swimming pool or spa.
