SNHD

OSHA's Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) is designed to ensure that information about the hazards of chemical handling and associated protective measures is disseminated to employees. Southern Nevada Health District is committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment for its entire staff which includes providing training for protection from chemicals used in our workplace. This presentation will train you to recognize symbols and statements on container labels and SDS, follow instructions and warnings on chemical labels, read labels and SDS and take the recommended precautions in handling chemicals.

Please make sure to provide your personal email at the bottom. Once you have completed the on-line training, SNHD will send an email to your personal email to confirm that you have completed the Hazard Communication Training. Please make sure to check you spam inbox in case the email is redirected to your spam folder. Bring a copy of the email with you on your first day as proof of training completion.
