Disasters and Emergencies

A variety of natural and man-made disasters could potentially affect Clark County:

  • Earthquakes
  • Explosions

  • Hazardous materials
  • Power outages
  • Storms
  • Severe heat
  • Terrorism
  • Wildfires

Clark County has a multi-jurisdictional Local Emergency Planning Committee which coordinates and facilitates emergency preparedness and public safety.
