  • After receiving the injection, you must remain in the clinic no less than 30 minutes for observation.
  • Do not have sexual contact with another person with or without a condom for 7 days after your last injection. This gives your body time to heal and also prevents the spread of the disease.
  • Following your treatment, you may have some side effects, such as fever, chills, body aches, nausea, vomiting, swelling of the lymph nodes, mild skin rash, flushing sensations, although this is uncommon.

**If you are pregnant, you must check with your doctor before taking any medication.**

The following symptoms are severe and you should seek medical treatment immediately from a hospital emergency room or call 911:

  • Severe skin rash, hives, itching, difficulty breathing, or swallowing, swelling of the face, throat, tongue, lips, eyes, hands, feet, ankles or lower legs. You may also experience hoarseness, yellowing of the skin or eyes, rapid heartbeat, and/or pounding heartbeat, or irregular heartbeat.

**Do no drink alcohol during your treatment and for 7 days after treatment completion.**
