Testing and Services

Services and testing are available on a drop-in basis and done by specially trained licensed and registered nurses.

The following services are offered at the STD Clinic:

• Diagnosis and treatment of active or suspected cases of:
  • Chlamydia
  • Gonorrhea
  • Syphilis 
  • HIV
  • Trichomonas (females only)
  • Yeast Infections (females only)
  • Bacterial Vaginosis (females only)
• Follow-up bloodwork
• Test results and counseling
• High-risk behavior counseling
• Free condoms and instruction on how to safely use them (both male and female condoms)
• Hepatitis A & B vaccination (Twin RX) for established clients
• Injection series for syphilis medication
• Referrals by private physicians
• Seven-day follow-up after sexual assault. The Community Action Against Rape (CAAR) Program provides referral so testing and treatment is free to patient.
• Partner Notification

Clients seeking treatment at the STD Clinic should know that the health district is required to report cases involving assault or abuse to appropriate agencies.
