Health District to hold Henderson Public Health Center open house, Tuesday, Oct. 31

What	The Southern Nevada Health District will host an open house at its new public health center in Henderson, 520 E. Lake Mead Parkway near Burkholder Blvd. The event’s theme will be “prevention doesn’t have to be spooky.”
Who	Health district divisions and community partners. The public is invited to attend.
Why	The open house will offer visitors the opportunity to learn about services provided by the new Henderson Public Health Center. In addition, several health district divisions will provide information and answer questions about public health preparedness, health education and disease prevention. State health representatives and community partners will provide information and consultation about health-related services. Free vision screening for children and eyeglass repairs for seniors will be offered.
