Many adults do not realize they could be at risk for a vaccine preventable disease. Certain vaccinations lessen over time, so you may need to update your immunizations.

Answer the questions below. If you answer yes to any of the questions, check with your doctor or health clinic to find out if you are protected against vaccine preventable diseases:

• Has it been ten years since you had a tetanus-diphtheria booster?
• Are you a senior citizen?
• Are you a woman of childbearing years who has never had German Measles or been vaccinated against it?
• Are you a young adult who has never had measles or its vaccination?
• Are you traveling out of the country?
