As of Friday, August 7, 2009, the Southern Nevada Health District reports the following information regarding novel H1N1 case counts in Clark County:

Clark County H1N1-Related Deaths to date: 7*
The health district is not reporting any additional deaths for the week ending Aug. 7.
One patient remains hospitalized. A majority of samples have been reported through the Southern Nevada Health District’s pediatric surveillance program with most patients experiencing mild illness.

*This number represents Clark County residents only. In early June, the health district reported the death of a hospitalized patient who was a resident of another state.
