The Nevada Clean Indoor Air Act
On November 7, 2006, a majority of Nevada voters passed Question 5, the Nevada Clean Indoor Air Act. The passage of this measure provides for substantial changes to Nevada smoking laws and protects children and adults from secondhand smoke in most public places and indoor places of employment. The Act went into effect on December 8, 2006.
