This four-hour course is offered at the Southern Nevada Health District Ravenholt Public Health Center.
This course features:
- An overview of terrorism and weapons of mass destruction.
- Symptoms and methods of treatment assocated with exposure to, or injuries caused by, chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear agents.
- Personal protective equipment required for various agents.
- Syndromic surveillance and reporting procedures.
- An overview of the Health Alert Network.
This course meets the content requirement of Assembly Bill 250 for re-licensure.
The course is approved for 4.8 CEUs, and the fee is $30.
