The health district offers vaccines for people traveling outside the United States. As with most immunizations, travel vaccines often require several weeks to provide complete protection. It is recommended that travel vaccines are administered as soon as possible.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Travelers' Health website provides information about which immunizations are recommended for travelers.

Henderson Public Health Center

Costs
Vaccine costs vary based on the type of immunization required. The health district charges an administrative fee of $16 per person for one vaccine and $25 per person for two or more vaccines.
Payment by Visa, MasterCard, cash, Culinary Insurance, Nevada Check-up, Medicaid, and Medicare Part B & D, and Medicare Railroad is accepted. Not all vaccines are covered by insurance.
Note: Credit cards must have the exact name as the identification presented. For example, a credit card with the name Jim Smith will not be accepted if the driver’s license reads James Smith.

The travel vaccine administration record is available in English or Spanish PDF (60 KB/2 pages) and must be filled out prior to receiving any immunizations.
