Episode Seven - December, 2006
With the holidays upon us, HD-tv takes a moment to offer tips on eating healthier and exercising during this busy season. While many of us have plenty to eat, hidden hunger is prevalent among children and seniors across the Valley, as illustrated in the Hidden Hunger segment. Segments on the Cold vs. Flu, Giving Blood and Tattoo Safety round out episode seven.

Episode Six - November, 2006
With the E. Coli outbreak affecting people throughout the United States, HD-tv takes an opportunity to explain disease surveillance and how the health district works to keep your food safe. Other topics include the Medical Reserve Corps, keeping your pets safe during a disaster, the opening of our new Henderson Public Health Center and our Family Planning Clinic. With the start of flu season, we take a moment to tell you about our Fight the Flu! campaign.

Episode Five - September, 2006
Fall is around the corner and with it comes immunizations for students returning to school, flu shots, and emergency room overcrowding. The pressure for teens and young adults to smoke is intense, but XPOZ and Urban Fuel offer support to keep young lives smoke-free. HD-tv also highlights the roof rat surveillance program.

Spending time outdoors is the best part about summer, but the extra time outdoors can have some risks.
