Handouts
Handouts help food establishments comply with food establishment regulations and/or serve to remind employees and patrons about important health and safety information.
Although not all handouts provided are required signage under the 2010 Food Regulations, they may fulfill requirements under County or State law.
Establishments are not obligated to use the provided handouts. However, all health district handouts meet the food regulation requirements for signage.
*Nevada Revised Statutes require each retail establishment in which cigarettes are sold or offered for sale to post at least one sign with a warning that smoking tobacco during pregnancy can cause birth defects, premature birth and low birth weight. The sign must be posted in a location conspicuous to the patrons of the establishment.
