The Southern Nevada Health District's Family Planning Clinics are a service provider for the Women's Health Connection (WHC).
The WHC is a breast and cervical cancer early detection program available to eligible Nevada women at no cost. This program is made possible by funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Services Available
Women age 40 and older are eligible to receive:
- Annual pelvic exam
- Pap test as recommended by the examining clinician*
- Clinical breast exam
- Some diagnostic services
*Depending on your clinician's recommendation, you may or may not receive a Pap test during the annual visit.
Women age 50 and older are eligible to receive:
- Annual pelvic exams and pap smear
- Annual mammogram screening
- Clinical breast exam
- Some diagnostic services
How to Qualify
Eligible women are ages 40 and older who do not have Medicaid or Medicare Part B, are not a member of an HMO, are underinsured or uninsured, and meet the income guidelines below.
