The Healthy Kids Exams program provides medical evaluations performed by a nurse to infants, children and young adolescents with Medicaid and Nevada Check-up living in Clark County.
The exams are free and no appointment is necessary. Healthy Kids Exams are available at the following public health centers:
- Ravenholt Public Health Center - 625 Shadow Lane (map)
Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
- East Las Vegas Public Health Center - 570 Nellis, Suite D-1 (map)
Monday - Thursday (closed Fridays),
8 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
- Henderson Public Health Center - 520 E. Lake Mead Pkwy (map)
Monday - Thursday (closed Fridays),
8 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
All healthy kids physical exams include:
- Height and weight measurement
- Blood pressure check (if age appropriate)
- Developmental screening
- Blood testing (anemia and lead screening) (if age appropriate)
- Evaluate for delays in growth and development
