Health Permits

A Health Permit must be applied for and granted in order to own or operate a tattoo/permanent makeup or body piercing establishment in Clark County.

Tattoo and Permanent Makeup Health Permits are defined as written approval by the Southern Nevada Health District to operate an establishment where tattooing or permanent makeup is performed, under the provisions of these regulations set forth in Section 2, infra.

Approval is given in accordance with these Regulations and is separate from any other licensing requirements that may exist within communities or political subdivisions comprising the Southern Nevada Health District.

Body Piercing Health Permits are defined as written approval by the Southern Nevada Health District to operate an establishment where body piercing is performed, under the provisions of these regulations set forth in Section 2, infra.

Approval is given in accordance with these regulations and is separate from any other licensing requirements that may exist within communities or political subdivisions comprising the Southern Nevada Health District.
